Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity

The C2PA is an open technical standards organization founded in 2021 by Adobe, Arm, Intel, Microsoft, and Truepic, operating under the Linux Foundation's Joint Development Foundation. It defines the Content Credentials standard — cryptographically signed, tamper-evident metadata that records the origin and edit history of digital assets, widely adopted by camera makers, AI platforms, and media companies.
